Date Night Pt.2: For the last minute planner
Lovers! Valentine’s Day is in 3 days. All the good restaurants are booked and you’re in a panic because you have nothing planned. Well look no further, I’ve got some great ideas for you to celebrate low key with your special someone.
Breakfast in Bed: If you guys have to work in the evening and plan on celebrating earlier in the day; surprise your sweetie with their favorite breakfast items. Maybe add some mimosas to spice things up.
Movie Marathon: Grab your favorite snacks, turn on Netflix or Hulu and cozy up next to your mate as you both indulge in your favorite type of film.
Walk in the Park: Head on over to your local park to spend some QT with your loved one while going for a stroll. Be sure to stop and enjoy the moment and snap some selfies with lovely scenery in the background.
Indoor Picnic: If you live in New York City like me, then it’ll most likely be too cold to go for a stroll in the park; let alone a picnic in one. So how about you rearrange your living room furniture for a cozier set up, grab some pillows, blankets and create a romantic picnic.
Game Night: If you’re competitive like my husband and I then this is the perfect way to spend your evening. Pull out some board games or download some new apps to make this a night filled with fun. Don’t forget to keep score. Since it’s VDAY the loser should have to do something naughty. *wink wink*
Bake something from scratch: If you want something other than your lover for dessert; head to the kitchen and whip up something tasty. Try melting chocolate! (it’s harder than it looks. lol)
Love Language Quiz: If you haven’t done this already and you want to know how to love your spouse and vice versa; google the quiz. Take it with your partner and then spend the rest of the night showing each other how you want to be loved.
Have a Happy Valentine’s Day and I hope you find these tips useful.
Until next time,
Talesa
