Wedding Planning: Tips for the Budget Friendly Bride
In my live feed last week, I spoke about the highs and lows of wedding planning. I promised that I would share some of the resources that I used to help plan as well as some of the places where I purchased my decor.
Pinterest: It’s 2019, everyone should be familiar with Pinterest and if you haven’t PLEASE do me a favor and check it out. I promise you won’t regret it. Pinterest is where I was able to channel all my creative juices, decide on my theme and get all the perfect ideas for what I wanted my special day to look like. Fact: you can create private boards that can be shared specifically with your wedding planner and whoever else will be partaking in your big day.
BluePrint Registry: This was my one stop shop for my registry. I was able to add gifts that I wanted along with doing a cash registry. How the cash registry works is that you can request a certain amount; say $50 for a honeymoon picnic. Once your wedding day comes and goes you can cash out. BluePrint will mail you a check for the amount of money that you received.
Groupon: I know you might be wondering: what could you possibly get from groupon to use during your wedding? Don’t be fooled! Groupon has it all. I saved tons of money by purchasing my “save the dates”, invites and photobooth.
Etsy: If you’re looking for unique decor; Etsy is it. I got my cake topper, flower girl basket, ring bearer box, parents gifts, etc. Etsy had so many unique products that really made my special day stand out.
Until next time.
